186 conveyed and confirmed and by these Presents fully grant bargain sell alien release convey and confirm unto him their son James Wickham his heirs and assigns forever One vein containing 14 rods of Land lying and being in the Town of Charlestown aforesaid partly in the Town of Westerly conveying by Elevation that One corner is at a Stone Wall the same marker being setted and containing by beginning at a Stone Post of a Stone Wall lining from a North & South East Corner of [illegible] land from hence North West Eighty four degrees North East 5 chains and 40 links to a Stone in the Corner of a Stone Wall from hence South 45 degrees North East 6 chains 12 links to a Stake near being the North West Corner of Daniel Wickham's land from hence running South 45 degrees West 14 rods chains 96 links to the Beginning aforesaid the Stone Wall joining the same Wall the said 14 rods & 14 chains thence running Eastward by a Highway north it enters to Ebenezer Narratic's Land bounding Westward to [illegible] Daniel Wickham's land and partly on George Gidley's Land to the first stated corner To have and to hold the same to be granted and bargained Demised with all the Rights Privileges & Appurtenances belonging to the same belonging in any manner of Appurtenance unto him the said James Wickham his heirs and assigns forever to his due and proper Use his Heirs Successors and heirs forever And the said Daniel Wickham for my part my Wife Emma and others do several promises and grant brand and warrant the James Wickham his Heirs and assigns that he and all and before the Beginning hereof from the time sole and complete Owner of the above described Premises will and lawfully for good and perfect defense of the same in any manner person shall at any time claim or demand claim of Deliverance in any Court place in the World and in any good Will Bill Suit Process Lawsuit Suitability & it shall do defend the same in Manner as aforesaid that the said James Wickham his Heirs and assigns shall quietly peaceably and fully may and peace come and come and come forever have by for given and void of any title of Right Lawfully peaceably possessedly and quietly have hold and peacefully and securely acquire recovered and undisturbed of all manner persons or others whatever Grant Bargain Release Lien Defense Release any Write Release any Court Process Decree or any Suit Imprecation whatever therefore proven & warrant signed and delivered by this Present In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal and the Divers witnesses of Year of the Reign of the August & Glorious George the Third King of Great Britain & Ann Domini 1778 Signed sealed & Delivered in Presence of Charles Hall Joseph Crandal Rhode Island County for [illegible] personally appeared the Subscribers vi The above beginning Deed read presented the 28th day of June 1778 Person Congdon the Clerk of the Court Daniel Wickham the Person above written and characterized I do above Acknowledged to be his own Act & Deed Hand Write Joseph Crandal Just of the Peace To all People whom these Presents shall come to Daniel Wickham of Charlestown in the County of Kent's County Colony of Rhode Island Yeoman just Gratitude’s [illegible] the said Daniel Wickham for and in Consideration of the Sum of Five Pounds and Six Pence paid unto Deliver home in Hand before the Executing & Delivery hereof will and truly paid by my Justine James Gidley of Olneyment in the County of Newport & Colony of Rhode Island aforesaid from am the receipt of which I hereby acknowledge ledge and myself therefore with full just satisfied contented & paid and of every that and every that and piece thereof do separate assign and deliver him the said James Wickham his Heirs Executors & Administrators forever by these Presents Have
