33 We the Subscribers Consent to Thomas as Ninegrell of Charlestown in the County of Kings County Chief Sachem of the Narragansett Tribe of Indians agreeable to the Act of the General Assembly of the Colony of Rhode Island have freely & Voluntarily Consented to the said and making the above Deed in Whose behalf we have hereunto afixed our Hands this in the Presence of James + Daniel Gorton William + Samuel Gorton Henry + Philip Gorton Mary + Mary Gorton Chris + Mary Gorton Charlestown in Kings County For Personally appeared the above Subscribers the day and Date first above Written & Acknowledged to the above Subscribers that to be their Uttermost old and their Deeds Hands and Seals hereunto Witness their Presence me Blog Craft Justice of Peace We the Underscribers being a Committee appointed by the General Assembly to effect Thomas Ninegrell with for the Cause of Rhode Island to all the said Narragansett Land in order to his Deed to be Durable to substantiate and approve the Sale of the said Land Expressed in the written Deed as Witness and Hands this 28 day of Sept 1762 Sy Lucas Robinson Hazard The above Deed was entered upon Record the 24th July 1842 1770 by James Congdon Clerk of Court To all People to whom these Presents shall come That we Joseph Taylor and Simon Matthews both of Charlestown in the County of Kings County in the Colony of Rhode Island having Land adjoining and being just & fair and most convenient for improvement to be after their Advantage Therefore we agree Mutually that the following Line shall be the Dividing Line between us
