166 Know all Men by these Presence That I Jonathan Colegrove of Providence in the County of Washington & State of Rhode Island and Tammy Colegrove wife of the Said Jonathan for and in Compensation of the sum of three hundred Dollars to us in hand cash and fully paid by Oliver Copeland of Charlestown in the County & State aforesaid Jamson the Receipt Whereof we hereby Acknowledge and ourselves therewith are fully satisfied Contented and paid Have Given granted Bargained sold Alienated enfeoffed & conveyed and Confirmed and by these Presents Do fully purely and absolutely Give grant Alien enfeoff Convey and Confirm unto the Said Oliver Copeland his Heirs Executors and Administrators and assigns forever one Certain Piece of Lot or Land lying in Charlestown containing Eighty Acres the same more or Less and situated and Bounded as Follows beginning at a corner where the Highway bordering the Case Brook intersects with the Highway Running Northwardly to another by the Highway until it come where the highway makes a corner thence running Easterly Bounded Northly by Said Highway until it comes to Ives Land bounded Land thence Running Southly Bounded Easterly by said Ivans Land to a Corner thence Westerly Bounded Southerly by said Cranston Land to the first mentioned Bound To have and to hold the said granted and Bargained Premises together with all the Appurtenances Appurtenances thereto belonging or any way more pertaining to them the Said Oliver Copeland his Heirs and Assigns forever to him and these only because he bought and belief and unto the sd Jonathan Colegrove & Tammy Colegrove for an Oliver her Executor and Administrator Do hereby Conveyand and grant to and with the said Oliver Copeland that he until the Ensealing and Delivery and delivery of are the sole full and complete owners of the said granted and Bargained Premises and we have in our after and Right full power and Lawfull authority to sell and dispose of the same in Manner as appears and that the same is free and Clear of all Manner of forms or Other Gifts grants Mortgages Leases Wills Deeds joints dower dower equity Judgments Encumbrances any other Incumbrances of what name or nature kind That may in any one way or purpose Oppose or Make void this Present Deed and Sale Also agree the Lastfull claims Challenges and Demands of all Persons Whatever forever hereafter we will warrant Secure and Defend the same In Witness Where of we have hereunto set our hand and Seals the fifteenth Day of February in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight Hundred and fourteen and of American Independence the thirty fourth Signed sealed & Delivered Jonathan Colegrove L In presence of Tammy Colegrove L Rowland Balcoh Jonathan Pingon Washington SS The Day and date above Written personally Mary Wilbur appeared Jonathan Colegrove signed Seal to the Milly Wilbur foregoing Instrument and Acknowledged the same Recorded February 1st 1814 p 104 f 8 that he by Rog Alig Coft L C has offered will act and Did have and seal it Before Rowland Balcoh Justice Peace
