172 Whereas the General Attorney of the State of Rhode Island at this January Session 1814 d Authorize Matilda Congdon some Member of the Narragansett Tribe of Indians to act under the advice and direction of John Santon Esqr of Charlestown act convey Pieces of land to Samuel Santon for certain sums of money furnished formerly on land of Samuel Santon one hundred and eighty feet high; part on the side Matilda Congdon and bottoming Now know all men by these presents That Matilda Congdon aforesaid by the Authority aforesaid and by deed with the Advice land consent of Said John Santon Esqr title by her signature hereunto affixed stamped in Consideration of the sum of hundred Dollars paid to me by Samuel Santon of Charlestown R.I.
