KNOW all men by these presents that I Jonathan Gideon of Charlestown County of Washington state of Rhode Island for and consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars and twenty five cents paid to me in hand by John Phillips of the County of [illegible] for which it is hereby acknowledged have received satisfactory and sufficient quit claim. do by these presents remise release and forever quit claim unto the said John Phillips his heirs and assigns forever a certain lot of land situate on law Charlestown and bounded on the south by the land of Henry Salisbury on the north by Mary and Thomas [illegible] and on the east and west by the land of the said Henry Salisbury and containing 100 acres on the Red line with a sketching Three hundred Ninety and containing 8 acres and 10 perches on the old line the corner runs south west.
