KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That I, LEILA M. HIGGINS, single, of the Town
of Charlestown, County of Washington and State of Rhode Island grant to MILLARD F. TUCKER,
of said Town, County and State with WARRANTY COVENANTS
Two, certain tracts or parcels of land situated in the Town of
Charlestown, County of Washington and State of Rhode Island:
FIRST TRACT, A certain tract of land, together with the buildings and
improvements thereon called and known as "West Block" situated, in
said Town of Charlestown, bounded and described as follows: Be-
ginning at the northwest corner of this tract and at the southeast
east corner of land of Samuel M. Higgins; thence westerly, bounding
northerly, by said Samuel M. Higgins' land, one hundred seventy-eight
and onehalf (178 1/2) feet to the southeast corner thereof; thence
southerly bounding westerly by the tract of land of said Higgins
one hundred forty feet (140') thence bounding westerly by land own-
erly of Thomas H. Arnold; thence easterly bounding northerly on
land of said Thomas H. Arnold, one hundred lines parallel with the north
line of this tract eighty feet (80') thence northerly on a line parallel
to the tract hereby conveyed and one hundred fifteen feet (115') then
a distance of eighty feet (80') thence northerly on a line parallel
with and distant eighty feet (80') from the west line of this tract,
a distance of eighty feet (80') thence northerly on a line parallel
bounding southerly by land of said Thomas L. Arnold, about sixty
five feet (65') more or less to the place of beginning; meaning
and intending to convey by these presents that tract of land purchased
by this grantor of Hannah H. Arnold, dated September 29th, 1928, and
which is recorded in the Land Evidence Records of said Town, in Book 2,
Page 279.
SECOND TRACT: Beginning at the northeast corner of the tract hereby
conveyed and at the southeast corner of land of this Grantor; thence
southerly in eastmost line of land of said Grantor a distance of
distance of fifty (50) feet thence easterly a distance of eighty (80)
feet thence paralleling northerly on a line parallel to the east
corner of land of samul frounor; thence westerly eighty (80) feet to the
place of beginning; meaning and intending to convey by land of Grantor,
westerly, southerly and easterly, by land, now or formerly, of Thomas
H. Arnold, however bounded or described, meaning and intending
Hearing to convey, by these presents, that tract of land purchased by
this grantor of Hannah H. Arnold, by deed dated May 11th,
1930 and recorded in the Land Evidence Records of said Town, in Book 24,
Page 356. Reference to the above mentioned deeds is hereby made, and made
a part of this conveyance for a more complete and particular description.
