SEND GREETING: WHEREAS the taxpayers of said Town of Charlestown, at their annual
Financial Town Meeting duly notified and called on the 13th day of April, 1931, voted that a

day of August, A. D. 1932 at ten o'clock A. M., Daylight Saving Time, I proceeded to sell
it public auction the premises taxed as aforesaid and Charlestown Estates, Inc., by its
agent Howard E. Thorp, was the highest bidder therefore.
NOW, KNOW YE, that in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars and fifty cents ($10.50)
to me paid by said Charlestown Estates, Inc., the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge,
I do hereby sell and convey unto the said Charlestown Estates, Inc., its successors and assigns,
forever, seven eighths (7/8) of all the right title and interest which said Julia M. Rice had
