THE QUODY REALTY CORPORATION, a Corporation duly incorporated and created
under the laws of the State of Rhode Island, and having a place of business in the
City of Providence, County of Providence, and State of Rhode Island, for consideration
paid, grant to the TOWN OF CHARLESTOWN, a Municipal Corporation, of the County of
Washington, and State of Rhode Island with QUIT-CLAIM COVENANTS
A certain tract or parcel of land bounded in the Town of Charlestown, County
of Washington, State of Rhode Island bounded and described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a stone bound, set in the ground on the north side of a public
highway at the southeast corner of lot No. 24, as shown on a certain plan or plat
entitled "Plat of Land in the Town of Charlestown, Rhode Island, owned by Benjamin
P. Moulton, Surveyed and platted, August 1905 by Leon L. Holland, Civil Engineer,
revised and replatted June 1910"; thence running westerly 1187.92 feet to another stone
bound set in the ground at the southwest corner of lot No. 55 as shown on said plat;
thence running southeasterly 40 feet, more or less, to the northwest corner of lot No. 1 as
shown on said plat; thence running easterly, in a line parallel with and 40 feet
distant from first mentioned line, 1184.56 feet, more or less, to the northeast corner
of lot No. 23 as shown on said plat; thence running northerly 40.48 feet to the point
and place of beginning; extending from land now or formerly of the Heirs of Charles
Burdick on the east to land now or formerly of Alfred Burdick on the west.
THIS DEED is given upon the express condition that the grantee, its
successors and assigns shall grade, construct and open for public use the highway or
road over and across those granted premises entire its length, and shall the grantee
at any future time cease to maintain or use this parcel of land for highway purposes,
the same shall revert to and revest in the grantor, its successors and assigns. This
deed is given and accepted by duly authorized authorities of said Town of Charlestown,
a Municipal Corporation, its successors and assigns solely and only on account of the
above premises and of the conditions therein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said THE QUODY REALTY CORPORATION has caused these
presents to be signed and its Corporate Seal to be hereunto affixed by Benjamin P.
Moulton, its President and Treasurer hereunto duly authorized this 29th day of October
1931.

In Providence in said county on the 29th day of October 1931 before me

said THE QUODY REALTY CORPORATION to me known and known by me to be the party executing
the foregoing instrument and he acknowledged said instrument by him executed to be
his free act and deed, his free act and deed in said capacity, and the free act and
deed of said THE QUODY REALTY CORPORATION.
