597 I, Harris W. Taylor, unmarried, of the village of Ashaway Town of Hopkinton County of Washington and State of Rhode Island for consideration paid, grant to Howard M. Gurseney of the City of West Hartford, County of Hartford and State of Connecticut, with MORTGAGE COVENANTS, to secure the payment of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS with interest at six per cent per centum, per annum, payable semi-annually (Exceptions stated in note) as provided in a certain negotiable promissory note of even date hereinafter written. That certain real estate situated in Charlestown, County of Washington in the State of Rhode Island, and described as follows: That certain real estate or building lot with dwelling house and other improvements thereon, situated and being at Quonocuton Beach so called in the Town of Charlestown in said County of Washington and bounded and described as follows, to wit: Lot #23 as shown and delineated on a certain plan or plat entitled "Plan of Quono- contau Beach, Charlestown, Rhode Island, Thorp & Trainer, Inc., Agents, 80 feet to the inch, October 1924, Rolles & Lewis Berghs., Revised November 19th, 1925," said plan or plat being on file in the Town Clerk's office in said Town of Charlestown, together with all the rights, privileges and benefits and subject to all of the restrictions, covenants and agree- ments as explained in that certain deed from Harry L. Rolles and Grace D. Rolles to this mort- gagor conveying the above described premises; same being dated November, 1930 and is duly recorded in the Land Evidence Records in said Town of Charlestown. This mortgage is made upon the STATUTORY CONDITION and with the STATUTORY POWER OF SALE. WITNESS my hand this 22nd day of April 1939 HARRIS W.
