I, MARY A. WILSON, Widow of the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington, State of
Rhode Island for consideration paid, grant to ASA T. HOSKIE of the Town of Charlestown, afore-
said with MORTGAGE COVENANTS, to secure the payment of Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars in
three years with interest at six (6%) per centum, per annum, payable semi-annually in advance
as provided in a certain negotiable promissory note of even date herewith.
That certain real estate situated in Charlestown, County of Washington in the State
of Rhode Island, and described as follows:
A certain tract of parcel of land situated on Quonochonticut Neck so-called, in the
Town of Charlestown, county of Washington and State of Rhode Island and bounded and
described as follows, viz:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said tract on the highway opposite a point
north east from the wall, thence north easterly along the highway thirty four 1/2 feet
until it comes to cottage lot sold to J. P. and C. M. Babcock, thence easterly
along the line of said Babcock's lot 100 1/2 feet to the southeast corner of said
Babcock's lot, thence south easterly along the line to the highway a point 100
feet east from the first mentioned bound, thence westerly along the highway to
the point of place of beginning.
This mortgage is given subject to a prior mortgage for 3500 dated May 1929 and
duly recorded in the land evidence records of the said Town of Charlestown.
This mortgage is made upon the STATUTORY CONDITION and with the STATUTORY POWER OF
SALE.
WITNESS my hand upon this 13th day of November 1931.
