Know all Men by these presents, that the Washington Trust
Company, a corporation created by the general Assembly of the State of
Rhode Island created and doing business in the form of Mortality in the County
of Washington and State of Rhode Island as Executor under the will of Peter R.
Palmer, of Hopkinton, Rhode Island declared deceased hereby release and discharge
a certain mortgage from Thomas H. Eldridge to said Peter R. Palmer in his lifetime
dated from 29th Sept 1897 and recorded in the records of the Town of Charlestown
in the County of Washington and State of Rhode Island in Book 16 at page 66
In our utmost honor of said the Washington Trust Company, as Executor
of the last will and Testament of said Peter R. Palmer has caused these presents
to be executed by its Assistant Treasurer, Thomas Berry, therefore duly authorized
and its corporate seal to be affixed thereto, this fifteenth day of October A.D.
1925.

In Westerly, October 15th A.D. 1925. Personally appeared Thomas
Berry, Assistant Treasurer of the Washington Trust Company, signer and sealer
of the foregoing instrument, and acknowledged the same to be his free act and
deed in his said capacity

De Allen M. Burdick and Eliz B. Burdick, husband and wife
both of the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington and State of Rhode
Island for consideration paid granted to Albert S. Segar and Mary E.
Segar, husband and wife, both of the City of Providence, County of
Providence and State of Connecticut as joint Tenants and not as Ten-
ants in common with mortgage covenants, to secure the payment
of twenty five hundred dollars ($2500) in six months with interest at
six (6%) per centum per annum, payable same annually in advance,
as provided in a certain negotiable promissory note of even date
therewith, that certain real estate in said town of Charlestown, County
of Washington, State of Rhode Island, and described as follows:
