I, Thomas S. Arnold, of Charlestown, Washington County, Rhode Island, for
consideration paid amount to be settled in shingles of said Charlestown with
warranty covenants, sell and convey a certain tract of land situated on "Fox Neck" in said
Charlestown, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner
of this tract and at the Northwest corner of land of Samuel M. Higgins; thence
Northwesterly bounding Northwesterly by said Samuel M. Higgins land 138 feet to the
Northwest corner thereof; thence Southeasterly on a line in continuation of the
West line of said Higgins lot one hundred feet bounding Westerly the land of
Granton; thence Southerly bounding Southeasterly on land of Granton on a line
parallel with the South line of the tract first herein conveyed and one hundred feet
from the same a distance of eighty eight feet thence Northerly on a line parallel with
and distant eighty feet from the West line of this tract a distance of fifty
feet more or less; thence Northwesterly bounding Northwesterly by land of Granton
about eighty feet more or less to the point of beginning. I, Mary M.
concur with the granting and release to said Arnold all my right of dower in
the aforementioned premises,

personally appeared the above named witnesses Thomas S. Arnold, said
Mary M. Arnold and one known to me to be the proprietor operating
the foregoing instrument and they acknowledged said instrument by
their signatures to be their free act and deed.
