4 Know all men by these presents, that I, Isaac Greene, of the town
of Richmond, County of Washingtonton and State of Rhode Island, administrator
of the estate of the late Abraham Lake of the town of Charlestown, in the said County
of Washington, executed by virtue of authority vested in me by the Court of Probate
for said County of Washington, and for and in consideration of five hundred (500)
pounds to be paid to me by Alberton Lake of the said town of Charlestown, the bequest
made to the state by his ancestor on the third day of May year 1750,
the receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge, being good and sufficient, and
in the premises I do hereby sell and convey his said and assigned heirs
and assigns forever, all that piece or parcel of land situated in the town of Charlestown
that was granted to him and his heirs forever in the year 1730 and is a strip of
land with a wide and a long way between it and the road which is a street of
