I, Hope A. Schroeder, of the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington, State of Rhode Island, for consideration paid, grant to ROGER WILLIAMS SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION, a Rhode Island corporation, located in Providence Rhode Island, with MORTGAGE COVENANTS, to secure the payment of Five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) with interest thereon, principal and interest being payable in monthly installments, all as described in a promissory note of even date hereby attached, and also to secure the performance and observance of all covenants and agreements herein contained.
That real estate, together with all buildings and improvements now or hereafter erected thereon, and all plumbing, heating, lighting and other fixtures, equipment and articles now or hereafter attached thereto, situated in the Town of Charlestown Rhode Island, and described as follows:
Lots numbered 275 and 276 as are laid out and marked on certain recorded plat entitled, "SURVEY OF THE Part of the Town of Charlestown, Rhode I.", property of Fred E. & Ethel W. Kroeker Surveyed and plated July, 1964. Verified R. Easterbrook Civil Engineer. Said Lots are laid out upon the claim herein before referred to and also together with the right to use in common with others, the way 60 feet wide together with the right to use in common with others, the driveway leading off of the road now and then designated as "Foster Road" leading east, said areas are more particularly set forth on the recorded plats recorded in the Town Clerk's office of said Charlestown, R. I.
The premises hereby conveyed are subject to the easements of record and are also subject to the plat restrictions and regulations of said plat.
This mortgage is made under the STATUTE CONDITION and with the STATUTORY POWER OF SALE, provided, however, that publication of notice of a foreclosure sale may be made alternatively in a public newspaper published in the City of Providence, and that such publication shall be deemed sufficient upon the premises or elsewhere to notify the mortgagees, as specified in said notice.
This mortgage is made subject to those additional covenants contained in STATEMENT OF COVENANTS AND AGREEMENTS, executed this day by the mortgagor, the exact terms of which are on record in said Charlestown, R. I. in Mortgage Book 38, at page 30. Said covenants and agreements are made part of this mortgage, and if default shall be made in the performance or observance thereof it shall be lawful for the mortgagee to sell the above described premises pursuant to said covenants and agreements.
I, Hope A. Schroeder, covenant that I am a widow and unmarried.
