529 MORTGAGE DEED KNOW ALL MEN by THESE PRESENTS, That we, JAMES E. REAY and SHIRLEY A. REAY, husband and wife, both of the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington and State of Rhode Island, hereinafter called the mortgagors, for consideration paid, grant to THE WASHINGTON TRUST COMPANY, a corporation created by Act of the General assembly of the State of Rhode Island, located and having its principal office and place of business in the Town of westerly, County of Washington and State of Rhode Island, hereinafter called the mortgagee, with MORTGAGE COVENANTS, to secure the payment of TWO THOUSAND and 50/100 ($2000.00) Dollars, with interest the term at rates specified in a certain negotiable promissory note of the mortgagors, of even date herewith, said principal and interest being payable in monthly installments of TWENTY-FIVE and 80/100 ($25.80) Dollars each on the 10th day of each successive month continuing April 10, 1961, until said principal and interest are paid in full, as provided in said note, the following described land, together with all buildings and other improvements now or hereafter erected thereon, all the hereditaments, appurtenances and rights thereto belonging or attaching in any way now or hereafter appertaining, and together with all heating and air-conditioning and air-conditioning apparatus, plumbing, electrics, stove, stone ovens and windows, gas, oil and electric furnaces, screens, screens doors, shutters, and other fixtures of whatever kind on said premises, or hereafter placed thereon prior to the full payment and discharge of the mortgagors, situated in the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington and State of Rhode Island, housed and described as follows: Two certain tracts or parcels of land, together with the buildings and improvements thereon, situated in the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington and State of Rhode Island, housed and described as follows: FIRST TRACT: Beginning on a point on the northerly side of the Past Road, so called, said point being South 33 degrees 40 minutes West of the westerly boundary line of said Past Road, a distance of 75 feet precisely from Henrietta Moore's line; thence running westerly, bounded southerly by said Past Road, a distance of 75 feet thence running northwesterly a distance of 200 feet; thence running northerly, bounded easterly by the line of First Tract, a distance of 295 feet, or near to, to a stone wall; thence running westerly, bounded northerly by premises precisely from Henrietta Moore's line, a distance of 75 feet precisely from the northerly boundary line of said First Tract, a distance of 295 feet or near to, to said stone wall; a distance of 75 feet east from and parallel to the westerly line of said First Tract, a distance of 295 feet or near to, said line to a stone wall; a distance of 75 feet east from and parallel to said Past Road, a distance of 75 feet to the point and place of beginning, or otherwise the boundary line as the same may be bounded or described. This conveyance is subject to fence agreements of record. ---- SECOND TRACT: Beginning on a point on the northerly side of said Past Road at the northeasterly corner of the premises herein described and at the northeastern corner of the above described First Tract, a distance of 295 feet, or near to, to a stone wall; thence running westerly, bounded northerly by premises precisely from Henrietta Moore's line, a distance of 75 feet precisely from the northerly boundary line of said First Tract, a distance of 295 feet or near to, said line to a stone wall; a distance of 75 feet east from and parallel to said Past Road, a distance of 75 feet to the point and place of beginning, or otherwise the boundary line as the same may be bounded or described. Meaning and intent to convey the same premises conveyed to the mortgagors hereby by Shirley A. Reay by deed dated January 20, 1959 recorded in the Land Evidence Records of the Town of Charlestown, R. I. in Book No. 36 at pages 521 and 522. This mortgage is made upon the STATUTORY CONDITION and with the STATUTORY POWER OF SALE, provided, however, that a release of the same may be had upon the place or premises or the estate of the mortgagors, as specified in the notice of such sale.
