Know all men by these Presents That I, Charles
Cross of Charlestown, in the County of Washington State of
R.I. sst and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to me
paid by George Cross of said Charlestown, the receipt whereof
I do hereby acknowledge have remised, released and forever
quitclaimed and by these presents do remise release and
forever quitclaim unto the said George Cross his heirs and
assigns forever, all the right title interest property, claim
and demand which I now have, or of right ought to have
a claim in, and to a certain tract of land with the buildings
thereon, situated in said Charlestown, containing two acres more
or less bounded as follows, on the North by the Post Road, or
the Coast highway mill line, on the South by land of Elihu B. Simmons
wife with land of Mary E. Bulloch and on the West by the
highway, land of John H. Kelly and land of said grantie, or
however bounded Also a tract of land situated in said
town, containing three acres more or less bounded as
follows, on the South and West by School house Pond and
Kings Factory brook, in the East by several parcels of land of
Cotton Mills and on the North by land of said Wilcox
and land of George F. Brooks Also a tract of marsh land
and beach situated in said town, bounded on the North
by land of Mrs Henry Potter on the East by the breach
of channel on the South by the sea and on the West by
land formerly of Stephen Duncan or however either of
said bouts may be bounded, To have and hold
the same, with all the rights privileges and appurtenances
thereto appertaining to the said George Cross his heirs
and assigns forever And I the aforesaid Charles Cross
for myself and for my heirs executors and administrators
do covenant with the said George Cross his heirs and
assigns, That I will warrant and defend the aforementioned
premises to the said George Cross his heirs and assign
forever, against all lawful claims and demands of all
persons claiming by, through or under me,
Of testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this 23 day of August in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight.

KNOW All men by these Presents, That I, Marie
Elizabeth Bullock of Atlanta Future las Georgia, in
consideration of the sum of Twelve Hundred dollars paid by
Edwin G. Leard of Charlestown R.I. the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, do hereby remise, release and forever
quitclaim unto him the said Edwin G. Leard his heirs and
assigns forever, all the right title, interest, property, claim
and demand, which I now have or of right ought to have
or claim, in and to the property in Charlestown Beach,
known as the Clarke cottage, the Anchorage House the beach
front between the said buildings bought from
Walter H. Foster the edges for all of which, are duly
recorded. To have and to hold the same, with
all the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto
appertaining, unto and to the use of him the said Edwin
G. Leard his heirs and assigns forever. And I the
aforenamed Marie Elizabeth Bullock for myself and
for my heirs, executors and administrators, do covenant
with the said Edwin G. Leard his heirs and assigns that
I will warrant and defend the aforementioned premises
unto the said Edwin G. Leard his heirs and assigns
forever against the lawful claims and demands of
all people claiming by, through or under me
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this sixth day of November in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety nine,
