682 We, Franklin C. Smith and Thelma L. Smith, husband and wife, both of the town of Westerly, county of Washington and state of Rhode Island for consideration paid, grant to Phebe A. B. Smith, of said town of Westerly, county of Washington and state of Rhode Island, with MORTGAGE COVENANTS, to secure the payment of two thousand five hundred ($2500.00) Dollars in eight (8) years with interest at five (5%) per centum, per annum, payable semi-annually in advance as provided in a certain negotiable promissory note of even date herewith described. That certain real estate situated in Charlestown, County of Washington in the State of Rhode Island, and described as follows, to-wit: Lot number one hundred nine (109) as shown and delineated on a certain plan or plat entitled "Plan of Quonocuttong Central Beach, Charlestown, R. I., Thorp & Trainer, Inc., Agents, eighty feet to the imb, October, 1924, Rossi and Lewis, Engrs.," said plan or plat being on file in the Town Clerk's Office in said Town of Charlestown. Being the same premises conveyed to said mortgagor by Carmela M. Vocatura by deed dated the 14th, day of April, A. D. 1939 and recorded in the Land Evidence Records of said town of Charlestown in Book 27 at page 585, which to deed reference is hereby made and for a more particular description of the same is the same a part hereof. This mortgage is made upon the STATUTORY CONDITION and with the STATUTORY POWER OF SALES. WITNESS our hands this 15th. day of April, A. D. 1939. FRANKLIN C. SMITH THELMA L.
