52 I, HOWARD N. KNUDSEN, single, of the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington, State of Rhode Island for consideration paid, grant to LEON M. GRINELL, of said Town, County and State with MORTGAGE COVENANTS, to secure the payment of FIFTEEN HUNDRED --- 00/100 Dollars in one year with interest at six (6) per centum, per annum, payable semi-annually in advance as provided in certain negotiable promissory note of even date herewith. That certain real estate situated in Charlestown, County of Washington, in the State of Rhode Island, and described as follows, together with the buildings and improvements there- upon: Beginning at a stone bound set in the ground on the easterly side of the State Highway leading from the Village of Troy's Hills, so-called, to the Village of Ninigret, said stone bound being 132 feet, more or less, north of the entrance to the Narrowgan sett Road, 100 feet, more or less, thence northerly, extending westerly by said State Highway, a distance of 120 feet, more or less, to another stone bound set in the ground, thence running south 15 degrees east, more or less, in a direction running south and easterly, a distance of 178 feet, more or less, to another stone bound set in the ground thence running south 15 degrees east, more or less, in a direction running south and easterly, a distance of 120 feet, more or less, to another stone bound set in the ground thence turning north 75 degrees east, more or less, a distance of 145 feet, more or less, to another stone bound set in the ground, thence southerly, bounden northerly, easterly and southerly by land of [?] and westerly by land of [?] and southerly by land of [?] by said State Highway, or however otherwise the same may be bounded or described. Being and meaning to convey the premises to convey the premises to this Mortgagor by deed from Leon M. Grinell to Howard N. Knudsen, including the buildings and improvements thereon standing as well as any and all buildings and improvements that shall be erected or placed upon said land of [?] by Grinell and [?] by Grinell and [?] by Grinell, reference to said deed bearing date of May 25th, 1936 and recorded in the Records of Land Evidence Town of Charlestown, Book 23, Page 374; reference to said deed and the records thereof being hereby had and made and the same made a part of these presents.
