I, MABEL ROBERTS, of the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington, State of Rhode Island, for consideration paid grant to SILAS A. GREENE, of said Town, County and State with MORTGAGE COVENANTS, to secure the payments of FOUR HUNDRED (400) DOLLARS in six years with interest at four per centum per annum, payable semi-annually in advance provided in a certain negotiable promissory note of even date, herewith,
That certain real estate situated in the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington State of Rhode Island, and described as follows:
All my right, title and interest in a certain tract or parcel of land, together with the buildings and improvements thereon standing, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the northerly side of the State Highway leading from the Village of Kenyon to Cross Mills; said point being the southeasterly corner of a lot bounded on the north by the southeasterly corner of the premises formerly of Joseph J. Burdick; thence running northerly, bounded westerly by the premises of David Ludd, and i [?] [?] to right-of-way, or driftway, an alley leading from "Columbia Heights," so called- to the State Highway leading from the Village of Shannon to Kenyon; thence turning and running easterly, in said direction, bounded southerly by said right-of-way or driftway, until it comes to said lot-mentioned State Highway, thence running southerly, bounded easterly by said lot-mentioned State Highway, until it comes to junction of the two aforementioned State Highways, thence running westerly and running westerly bounded southerly by said first-mentioned State Highway, to the point and place of beginning, or however otherwise the same may be bounded or described.
This mortgage is made upon the STATUTORY CONDITION and with the STATUTORY POWER OF SALE.
I, HARRY N. ROBERTS, husband of the mortgagor release to the mortgagee all my right of curtesy and all other interest in the aforesaid premises.

In Charlestown on the 22nd day of January, 1942 before me personally appeared Mabel Roberts and Harry N. Roberts, wife and husband, both to me known and known by me as be the parties executing the foregoing instrument, and they acknowledged said instrument by them be executed to be their free act and deed.

DISCHARGE OF MORTGAGE
The undersigned, having received full payment and satisfaction of that certain real estate mortgage in which Mabel Roberts appears as mortgagor, and Silas A. Greene appears as mortgagee, which said mortgage is recorded in the land evidence records of Charlestown, Town of Charlestown, in the State of Rhode Island, in Mortgage Book 28, at page 607, hereby cancels and discharges the same, and covenants that he is the present owner of said mortgage.
