voluntary act and deed.

I John N. Money, of Charlestown Washington County Rhode Island
mortgagee named in a certain mortgage deed given by John Duffy
to secure the payment of one hundred and five dollars dated May 1st
1796 and recorded in said Charlestown in Real Estate mortgage book No
18 at page 229, in consideration of one hundred eighteen $ 00 dollars
to me paid by the Carolina Mills Company of Richmond in said county
do hereby assign to said Carolina Mills Company the said mortgage
deed, the note and claim thereby secured and all my interest in the
said estate hereby conveyed, hereby authorizing them to collect the money
due on the same, in my name or otherwise, but at their own cost and
charges, covenanting that the sum of one hundred eighteen $ 00
dollars including interest to this date is now due thereon, To have
and to hold the same in my name or otherwise to the said Carolina Mills Company their
successors and assigns to their use and behalf forever,
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
this 17th day of December 1883,
