On this first day of
May AD 1883 Asa I. Kossie personally appeared before me
and acknowledging ledged the within instrument by him signed
to be his free act and voluntary act and deed. Also that
there on the same day, also the above named Nancy B. Kossie
wife of said Asa I. Kossie personally appeared before me
and being by me examined oathly and a part from her said
husband the acknowledge ledged the within deed, which was by me
shown and explained to her, to be her free and voluntary act
and deed, and declared to me that she did not wish to retract
the same.
