Hartwell and Jeffrey Regard personally appeared and acknowledged the foregoing instrument to be their act and deed before me one and the same day in said Providence, Sworn to by Regard wife of said Jeffrey Regard being examined privately and apart from her said husband declared unto me that the foregoing instrument I now and executed by her was her voluntary act and deed and that she did not wish to contract the same George H. Regard his wife the holders of the deed of Mortgage mentioned in the foregoing deed, on afore date before and day, that at least twenty days prior to the day of making sale of the premises described in said deed, gave notice of such sale to be published in the Manufacturers and Farmers Journal one of the public Newspapers printed in said Providence. That said notice was published in said Newspaper eight times to wit Oct the 24th 1880, 27th 30th day of January 1881, the 5th, the 10th and 14th day of February 1881. That said sale was on this 19th day of February 1881 at 12 o'clock at noon at the office of George H. Bunkhouse in the city of Providence made by public auction by said George H. Bunkhouse he being an auctioneer of the city of Providence in pursuance of the notices of sale aforesaid, a copy whereof is hereunto annexed and is as follows: Mortgagee's Sale Will be sold by public auction Monday, February 19th 1881 at the office of George H. Bunkhouse in Providence, by virtue of the power of sale contained in a deed of Mortgage made and executed by said Smith Bradford dated February 1st 1879 and recorded in Book No 10 page 503-529 and 535 of land evidence in Johnston RI. The conditions of the said deed of Mortgage having been broken. All that piece of land in said Johnston containing by estimation thirty four acres more or less bounded Southerly by the Cove, Westerly by land of James H. Simpson and land of George W. Kendrick, Northerly by the salt pond and Easterly by land of James Mc Donald; also a tract or parcel of land in said Johnston known
