484 Guardian Deed
Know all men that I Esther H. Hosie of Richmond, County of
Washington and State of Rhode Island Guardian to the estate of my friend of
Walter M. Hosie of Richmond, County and State aforesaid agree and by my power &
authority vested in me by the Court of Probate of the town of Richmond aforesaid
and for and in consideration of 80 dollars to be paid to me by George W. Hosie
and Albert H. Hosie of Bristol town, County and State aforesaid the amount
whereof I do hereby acknowledge to be fully and amply paid in property bags clothing
and currency unto the said George W. Hosie & Albert H. Hosie their
and assigns forever, all the right title & interest which the said Walter M. Hosie
in mine as her of right might receive to her in her the said Real Estate of property
Hosie late of Richmond, deceased, situated in the town of Okean town, County
and State aforesaid, and for a more full and particular description of said Real
Estate, reference is hereby made to the bounds of the town of Okean town, Meaning
& intending by this deed to convey to all the right title & interest the said Walter M.
Hosie has in her life of property Hosie in and to the said Real Estate situated in the
town of Okean town only and of which the said person Hosie has signed and
witnessed at the time of its devise - I have and do hereby to the above granted
premises with all the privileges and appurtenances thereof to them the said George
W & Albert H. Hosie their heirs and assigns forever, to them and their only me
benefit and lawful forever - And I do hereby warrant and agree to and unto the
said grantees their heirs and assigns that I was and am empowered by the said
Court of Probate of the town of Richmond aforesaid to make said sale whereas that I
was duly according to & agreeable to the license of the said Court of Probate and the
premises to the said Sale. I have for the faithful application of the proceeds of
said sale agreeable to the rules and decrees of said Court of Probate. That I shall
good right to sell as aforesaid that I will warrant and defend the same
against the lawful claims of all persons claiming by through or under me
In witness whereof I have hereunto in my said capacity as Guardian set my
hand & Seal this 11th day of June A.D. 1839

Personally appeared Esther H. Hosie as guardian and acknowledged the
