344 for me or for them shall pay said note at maturity together with the interest thereon according to the tenor thereof hereafter this deed shall be null & void otherwise shall he and sureties be seized in full force and effect. Furthermore I the said Hazard L Kenyon of Newport, do hereby constitute and appoint the said Legacies their Executors administrators and assigns as my attorneys irrevocable with full power of substitution and reservation for me for any time on my own name or names or premises at any hour or time or vessel should be made in the payment of my said note or of the demolished mutual insurance the tenure or breach shall the made of the insurance of homeowners hereinafter entitled and such deposit or breach shall be substituted on the term of longevity to deal in full settlement such the principal aforesaid or any part thereof they finding after the expiration of the said term of four days bring said note of sale and save me one of the public notary peace printers in and near County of Washington State Rhode Island and on my name or names or names to modify, execute, set, acknowledge and deliver to the purchasers or purchasers thereof hand and seal or deeds such may be necessary to secure in such absolute purchase or purchases full force and absolute estate in the simplest tenure and out sale thereof (namely paying me seventy five and any attorney fees to constitute or accomplish such sale the amount to be held) I do authorize my said attorneys to insure that the amount the same pay sale for and after the payment of all the expenses incident to such sale and sales to apply and appropriate the residue thereof to the payment of the amount of principal and interest of said note hereby secured I hereby agree that in case of a sale for the default in the payment of said sum aforesaid interest or breach of said covenants of insurance the principal of my said note shall be deemed due and payable in the day of such sale acknowledging to me or my heirs and assigns for all sums over and above the amount thereof I hereby ratifying approving and confirming such sale or sales as long as he should be enabled to make by lawful fee hiring Furthermore we the said Hazard L Kenyon and wife for ourselves and for our heirs executors administrators and assigns do hereby covenant with the said Mapson & Co their heirs or assigns that sufficient insurance against loss by fire shall be kept and maintained on the premises described in the firstforesaid in a sum not less than eighteen hundred dollars and that the policies or policies of such insurance shall be assigned and transferred to the said Mapson & Co their heirs and assigns as collateral security hereto and in default thereof we hereby agree that the said Mapson & Co their heirs or assigns may effect such insurance and the premium or premiums paid thereon shall be a further lien upon the said estate collateral to the amount of said note and secured by these presents In Testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this sixth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty six Signed sealed and delivered in presence of T.
