MORTGAGE DEED 151 We, HENRY C. CARTER and MABELLE E. CARTER, husband and wife, both of the City of Cranston, County of Providence and State of Rhode Island, as joint tenants for consideration paid, grant to HOWARD E. THORP, of the Town of Westerly, County of Washington State and of Rhode Island with MORTGAGE COVENANTS, to secure the payment of Fifteen Hundred Dollars in Five (5) years with interest at Five (5%) per centum per annum, payable semi-annually in advance as provided in a certain negotiable promissory note of even date herewith. In accordance with the terms and tenor of said note. (Description, and Incumbrances, if any) Two certain tract or parcels of land together with dwelling house and other improvements thereon standing, located on the southerly side of Ocean View avenue, so called, at Quonochontaug, in the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington and State of Rhode Island housed and described as follows, to wit: Lots #412 and #413 as shown and delineated on a certain plat made by Samuel Hallidie, entitled "Plat of Quonochontaug Highlands at Quonochontaug Beach, Rhode Island, property of S. S. Hallidie", dated the 1st day of June, 1896, February 22nd, "said Plat being duly filed in the Land Evidence Records of the Town of Charlestown said lot #412 measuring 100 feet in length and said lot #413 measuring sixty-five (65) feet in width, both lots being one hundred twenty-five (125) feet in depth and is bounded northerly by an alleyway, bounded easterly by land remaining of Joseph Ingham, length and west and southerly by land of Charlestown Estates, Inc., and westerly by proposed Union Road, so called. Meaning and intending to mortgage the above described premises conveyed to these grantors by Charlestown Estates, Inc., by deed duly recorded in the Land Evidence Records of said Town of Charlestown together with all of the restrictions, covenants, reservations and rights of way as are contained in said deed.
