Know All Men By These Presents that I, HARVEY C. SAPPORD of the Town of Charles-
town in the County of Washington, State of Rhode Island for consideration paid grant to
Laura B. Himes of the City of Cranston, of the State of Rhode Island with MORTGAGE COVENANTS,
to secure the payment of One Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-five (1,875) Dollars in One (1)
year with interest at Four (4) per centus per annum, payable semi-annually as provided in a
certain negotiable promissory note of date oven herewith,
That certain real estate situated in the Town of Charlestown County of Washington
State of Rhode Island, and described as follows:
FIRST PARCEL: A certain tract of land with the buildings and improvements
thereon, situated in the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington, State of Rhode Island,
bounded on the west by the Atlantic Ocean and the shores of Charlestown Point at the
wall between "Point Meadows" and "Corner Meadows" so accredited; thence northerly bounded
on the west side by said ocean; thence easterly bounded on the south by a wall and then
erly by said wall sixty-one (61) feet; thence southerly parallel with said first
wall and distance 140 feet to a wall; thence easterly bounded on the south by a wall and then
erly by the north wall of Eden Forster and on the easterly by the other wall of the mortgagor
known as the East lot of the Corner Meadows property; thence westerly bounded south-
easterly by said point to the place of the beginning.
SECOND PARCEL: A certain tract of land situated in the Town of Charlestown, in
the County of Washington, State of Rhode Island containing one (1) acre or more or
less, which was conveyed by Joseph M. Carr to Frank M. Campbell by deed dated March 29,
1918 and recorded in the records of land evidence in said town. A copy of the Deeds of Notice said Town of
Charlestown, bounded and described as follows from the line running North by east on
the wall between the property of Adrian Fromer this tract (which is known as "Point Meadows")
on the east by the land of Adrian Fromer; thence southerly bounded on the east by a wall from
the wall which is the dividing line between said Wester land and land formerly of
W. S. Palmer on the east; thence westerly bounded on the south by the land referred to as
the Belt lot; and on the west by the above described first parcel.
The above described two parcels are the same that were conveyed to the mortgagor
by deed of Frank M. Campbell to Harvey C. Sappord on June 17, 1935 and recorded in the
records of Land Evidence in said Charlestown in Book 26, page 103.
This mortgage is made upon the STATUTORY CONDITION and with the STATUTORY POWER OF SALE.
I hereby covenant that I am unmarried.

acknowledged said instrument by him executed to be his free act and deed.

I, the undersigned, having received full payment and satisfaction of the within mortgage recorded
in the records of land evidence in the Town of Charlestown in the State of Rhode Island, in Book
Number 27, at page 243, hereby cancel and discharge the same. And I covenant to and with the
person making said payment, that I am the present owner of said mortgage.
