142 PARTIAL RELEASE OF MORTGAGE
INDUSTRIAL TRUST COMPANY, a corporation created by the General Assembly of the
State of Rhode Island, the holder of a mortgage by Mary A. Russell to said Industrial
Trust Company, dated August 8, 1949 and recorded in the Records of Deeds in the Town
of Charlestown, in said State of Rhode Island, in Real Estate Mortgage Book 31 at page
603, for consideration paid, releases to GEORGE W. SHORT and GLADYS A. SHORT, husband
and wife, both of the City of Warwick, in said State of Rhode Island, as JOINT TENANTS
and not tenants in common, all interest acquired under said mortgage in the following
described portion of the mortgaged premises--
That certain triangular shaped parcel or tract of land, containing
eight hundred (800) Square feet, more or less, situated in the Town of
Charlestown, County of Washington, State of Rhode Island, bounded and
described as follows--
Beginning at a Rathbone or Rhode Island highway bound set in the ground on the
westerly side of the "Post Road" so-called, in the Town of Charlestown,
County of Washington, State of Rhode Island, thence running southeasterly by the
distance of a twenty-five (25) feet, more or less, to land of Richard A.
Rathbone; thence running southeasterly by the distance of sixty-five (65) feet, more or
Rathbone, a distance of sixty-five (65) feet, more or less, to said Post
Road; thence running northwesterly by the distance of sixty-five (65) feet, more or less,
by said Post Road, a distance of sixty-five (65) feet, more or less, to the point of
start and place of beginning; the said boundaries being in concord with as
shown and delineated on that plat entitled, "Surveying showing property of
George A. Short and Gladys A. Short, in Town Court Hill, Town of
Charlestown, R. I. E. A. Emerson Civil Engineer, June 1, 1950, Scale 1" =
60', and marked 800 Sq. feet, a copy of said plat being on file in the office of
the Town Clerk, said Town of Charlestown.
But this release shall not in any way affect or impair the right of
said Industrial Trust Company to hold under the said mortgage deed and as
security for the sum remaining unpaid thereon, to sell under the powers of
sale in said mortgage deed contained all the remainder of the premises
therein conveyed and mortgaged, not heretofore released, or to otherwise
enforce the provisions of said mortgage.
WITNESS its corporate name and seal hereto annexed affixed by its Officers duly
authorized this 11th day of June, 1952.

Trust Company, to me known and known by me to be the parties executing the foregoing Instru-
ment, and they acknowledged said instrument, by them executed, to be their free act and deed,
their free act and deed in their capacities aforesaid, and the free act and deed of said
Industrial Trust Company.
