KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that I, ROBERT E. HOLLOWAY, of the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington, State of Rhode Island for consideration paid, grant to LINTON L. BROWN, of said Town, County and State with MORTGAGE COVENANTS, to secure the payment of Two Hundred---22/100 Dollars in two years with interest at six (%) per centum, per annum, payable semi-annually as provided in a certain negotiable promissory note of due date herewith.
That certain real estate situate in Charlestown, County of Washington, in the State of Rhode Island, and described as follows:
An undivided one-half (1/2) interest in a certain parcel or tract of land, together with the buildings and improvements thereon, located and being in said Town of Charlestown, and bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the permanently corner of said tract, at the State Highway, at the southwestern corner of said lot of William Devonshire and others; thence easterly, however, slightly curved, partly by a fence and partly by a wall and partly by the land of Saul S. Senner, a distance of 20 rods, more or less; thence southerly at right angles with the above-mentioned line a distance of four rods; thence easterly, slightly curved by the land of the heirs of Jesse S. Reynolds; thence southerly, bounding southerly, by other lands of the heirs of Jesse S. Reynolds, easterly 31 rods; then northerly, by the heirs of Jesse S. Reynolds; thence westward, a distance of (twenty) 20 rods, more or (four) 4 rods distant therefrom, a distance of (twenty) 20 rods, more or less, bounding northerly, by the heirs of Jesse S. Reynolds, bounding northerly, by said State Highway, a distance of four (4) rods to the point of place and beginning of however otherwise the same may be bounded or described.
And including and inbecoming the above described property all right, title and interest acquired by the above-described property computed by the deed from the heirs of Jesse S. Reynolds to Robert E. Holloway and Agnes S. Holloway; said deed dating back to June 1st 1934 and recorded in the Registry of Land Evidences of Land Evidences, said Town of Charlestown, Book No. 14, Pages 107 and 108; reference to said deed and record thereof being hereby had and made and the same made a part hereof.
This mortgage is made upon the STATUTORY CONDITION and with the STATUTORY POWER OF SALE.
I, Agnes Holloway wife of the mortgagor, release to the mortgagee all my right of dower and all other interest in the aforesaid premises.

In Charlestown on the 25th day of November, 1936 before me personally appeared Robert E. Holloway and Agnes Holloway, husband and wife, to me known and known by me to be the parties executing the foregoing instrument, and they acknowledged said instrument, by them executed, to be their free act and deed.

I, the undersigned, having received full payment and satisfaction of the above Mortgage, recorded in the records of land evidence in the Town of Charlestown, in the State of Rhode Island, in Land Evidence Book No. 26 at page 565 hereby cancel and discharge the same. And I covenant to and with the persons making said payment that I am the present owner of said mortgage. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 16th day of June, 1938.
