283 MORTGAGE DEED We, Ernest R. Beresford and Cora K. Beresford, husband and wife, both of the Town of Narragansett, County of Washington, State of Rhode Island, for consideration paid, grant to Charles C. Bliss, of the Town of South Kingstown, County of Washington, State of Rhode Island, with MORTGAGE COVENANTS, to secure the payment of FIVE HUNDRED ($500) Dollars in five (5) years with interest at six (%) per centum per annum, payable semi-annually not in advance provided in a certain negotiable promissory note of even date herewith. That certain lot or parcel of land, together with the buildings and improvements thereon, situated in the Town of Charlestown, County of Washington, State of Rhode Island, and laid out and delineated as Lot Number 49 (Forty-nine) on that plat entitled, "Sea Lea Colony in Charlestown and South Kingstown R., I. Property of M. R. Y. Behnke, Numbered Lots Represent Area of Sea Lea Colony, Surveyed and Platted, 1933, 1934, 1936, 1937, 1938 - Leon L. Holland, Civil Engineer, Scale 1" = 50' ", which plat is recorded in the Records of Land Evidence in said Town of Charlestown. Meaning and intending to convey one of the lots of land conveyed by deed from Albert E. Brown to these Mortgagors; said deed bearing date of November 23, 1943 and recorded in the Records of Land Evidence, said Town of Charlestown, in Book 29, at Page 149. This mortgage is subject to restrictions referred to in the aforementioned deed. This mortgage is made upon the STATUTORY CONDITION and with the STATUTORY POWER OF SALE.
