307 To all Christian people to whom these Presents shall come Greeting Know ye that we Daniel Peckham and he his wife mary Peckham of Charlestown in the colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations yeoman for a consideration of the sum of Sixty five dollars in lawful money of England paid and paid by Philip Smith of the town of Narragansett in said county before the appearing here by Philip Butt and Philip Smith by the hands of her husband of his name & witnesses on the colony of Rhode Island on the 12th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty two and our said husband further fully satisfied and contented and have given granted bargained and sold conveyed and confirmed unto the above named Isaac Saunders his heirs forever in perpetuity the following tenement being seventeen acres and eighteen rods in tract or piece of land situated in the town of Narragansett in the colony of Rhode Island containing by measurement forty seven acres one
