Before me William Stake Publick Scribe Come Entry that I Joseph Bailey Lady of the Town of Newport in Kings County In my right mind and Body soundly and in good health and Being of the soundest Mind I do make this my last Will and Testament in the manner following Whereas I William Bailey of the Town of Newport in Kings County officer of the Crown and by the Grace of his Majesty and the laws of this Province have had the Honor to be appointed as Agent for his Majesty's Affairs August Deputy Governor Therefore I give granted Signed and Sealed Assigned Conveyed and forever confirmed by these presents to my beloved Son Joseph Bailey all that piece of Land called the "Old Corner" lying in the Town of Newport part of a larger tract of Land now called the "Old Corner" lying in the Town of Newport in Kings County of which the boundaries are as follows Beginning at the South West Corner of the East Corner which is called Old Corner bounded on the North by the Land of the Town of Newport
