To all People To Whom these Presents Shall come, Greetings Know ye that I Christopher Gorton of the Town of Jamestown in the Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations Yeoman do hereby grant bargain and convey unto [illegible] and his Heirs and Assigns forever I give and grant unto me and my Heirs and Assigns forever to my Son and Heirs and Assigns forever to William Ruth of the Town of North Kingstown in the Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations Yeoman and his Heirs forever a piece of Land situated in the Town of Jamestown in the Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations which Land is bounded as follows Granted by the Town of Jamestown to Christopher Gorton my Father and John Gorton my Uncle and [illegible] and absolutely and forever’s Neighbors bounded on
