To all Christian People to whom these Presents shall come Greeting Whereas ye 11th of January 1741 ye Samuel Mell of Charlestown in King's County in the colony of Rhode Island and Providence in the jurisdiction of one of His Majesty's Provinces did covenant and agree to give and grant before the Capitals of the colony well and lawfully to ye Stephen Rogers his heirs or assigns forever all that piece of land situated to know the whole of a lot of land as per the map annexed and also any messuage built upon the said lot and also any Garden Planted Orchard or any other improvement on the said lot and also any right of way to the said lot absolutely free and clear of all burdens and encumbrances whatsoever for the said Stephen Rogers his heirs and assigns for ever in due consideration best or parcel of which and in token of his act and deed witnessed in the presence of the witnesses below signed and sealed the day and year first above written I Samuel Mell of the town of Charlestown in the colony of Rhode Island do hereby acknowledge that I have paid to ye said Stephen Rogers my full and complete payment for the said lot of land and all the improvements thereon and convey the said lot to him and his heirs and assigns forever and further declare that I do waive all rights claims and interests in the said lot and all improvements thereon and do grant to him a right of way to the said lot and all improvements thereon and all the appurtenances thereunto belonging and do hereby covenant and agree to do him the said Stephen Rogers his heirs and assigns forever all such assistance as may be required of me to secure the said lot and all improvements thereon to him and his heirs and assigns forever and further covenant and agree that I Samuel Mell and my heirs principals successors and assigns forever covenant to do all that the said Stephen Rogers his heirs or assigns may require of me for the purpose of securing the said lot and all improvements thereon and do hereby release and discharge the said Stephen Rogers from any and all claims or demands whatsoever in respect of the said lot and all improvements thereon and do further covenant and agree to do the said Stephen Rogers his heirs and assigns forever all such assistance as may be required of me to secure the said lot and all improvements thereon and do hereby release and discharge the said Stephen Rogers from any and all claims or demands whatsoever in respect of the said lot and all improvements thereon and do further covenant and agree to do the said Stephen Rogers his heirs and assigns forever all such assistance as may be required of me to secure the said lot and all improvements thereon and do hereby release and discharge the said Stephen Rogers from any and all claims or demands whatsoever in respect of the said lot and all improvements thereon and do further covenant and agree to do the said Stephen Rogers his heirs and assigns forever all such assistance as may be required of me to secure the said lot and all improvements thereon and do hereby release and discharge the said Stephen Rogers from any and all claims or demands whatsoever in respect of the said lot and all improvements thereon and do further covenant and agree to do the said Stephen Rogers his heirs and assigns forever all such assistance as may be required of me to secure the said lot and all
