60 To all People to whom these Presents shall come Greeting Whereas that I Nicholas Lawton of Charlestown in the County of Kent in the State of Rhode Island and Providence planted on New England make for myself and my Heirs the last act and deed of gift sale and Conveyance to return and for the securing now of well and fully paid by John Potter of the said town the sum of fifty pounds of lawful money in the Currency of the colony and province of Rhode Island in consideration of the said sum of money and for the further consideration of my love and affection towards the said John Potter and his heirs I do hereby give grant bargain and sell and absolutely convey and confirm to the said John Potter and his heirs forever full right entry possession seisin and claim forever of a certain
