To All People To whom these Presents shall come I Oliver
Gauet of westerly in Kings County & Colony of Rhode Island German & resident in
Charlestown town in y^e County Said Name To Samuel Gauet Late of y^e Westerly
Deceased Son Greeting Whereas now ye say that I y^e Said Oliver Gauet first entering
domain of the inhabiting & possessing of a Certain Tract of Salt marsh written between
my Honoured Grand Father Mr. Ezekiel Gauet of Westerly Deceased gave through
to Father & Samuel Gauet Deceased and to my Uncle Joseph Gauet of y^e
to be Equally Divided between them my father & I my Uncle their Heirs in
perpetuity for good Now Hence forth I the said Oliver Gauet as the son and
to the Sd Samuel Gauet Deceased for and in Consideration of the Dividing Said
Tracts & parcels of piece of said Salt marsh Moreover to employ
& Confirm the performance of these purposes within a timely time in hand as

Have Claime Challenge or Demand any Estate Right Title Interest Property
Claime & Demand unto the Hereby granted & belonged promised and thereof and there
from shall be utterly excluded and for ever Barred by these Presents In

ye this, I Joseph Gavs, for and in consideration of the Sum Settling & Confirm
ing to me in a certain Tract, Piece, or parcel of Salt marsh meadows which Ezrechel Gavs,
late of Westerly in said County Deceased on his last will and Testament gave to Samuel
Gavs Deceased & to me Joseph Gavs, to be Equally Divided between us Samuel
& Joseph our Heirs and assigns forever Now therefore I Joseph Gavs for and in
consideration of the well Deserving and Settling of the aforesaid Land my Satisfaction
& gotten for the expensing & Delivery of these presents well & Truly made by
Oliver Gavs, of Westerly the residing in Chaletown in said County in this Year At
Samuel Gavs, Deed Ezrechel Gavs the New guy, Whereof Whereby acknowledge & my
self there with fully Satisfied and thereof & bought, & secure Discharge the
Oliver Gavs has this Deed over Demised & given by these presents & for the
on and some considerations me there having Good and remedy for release
over and claimed & confirmed & by these presents do release release re
the Claim unto the Oliver Gavs, in his actual possession & Reign now being
to his heirs and Assigns forever certain Tract, piece or parcel of Salt marsh,
