Estate as belonged to him Son Thomas and Daughter Sarah who are Minors and the Said Assembly granted the Said Petition (save one part of two lines map) empowering said Admin Stratrix to sell and make a deed or Deed of the same under the care and Direction of the Town Council of said Charlestown which Petition with the Act of the Assembly thereon is recorded in the Town Clerks Office of said Charlestown reference being made to Documents there within fully appear, and the said Rebecca Congdon in formed the Town Council and the Town zat that she had agreed to dispose of the same to Council not and the Town of the same, and deputed the said Rebecca Congdon to make. and execute a deed of the same accordingly, as may fully appear, by the records of sd Town Council held the first Monday in April 1788 Now know ye that the said Rebecca Congdon as Admin Stratrix as afore said and in Consideration of the Sum of one Hundred five as afore son and in Consideration of the Sum of one Hundred five Hundred and seventy June pounds and 11 Silver Dollars to her in Hand well and truly paid by Samuel Cross of said Charlestown resident well and truly paid by Samuel Cross of said Charlestown resident the Receipt whereof the sd Rebecca Congdon doth hereby acknowledge that she is thereby with fully satisfied contented and paid; and therefore and of Every Part than of sd acres’s receipt and discharge the said Samuel Every Part than of sd acres’s receipt and discharge the said Samuel Cross his Heirs Executors and admin strators.
