517 To all People to whom these Presents shall Come, Greeting. Know ye that I J. Lowwick Rynson of Charlestown in Washington County in the State of Rhode Island stand Seized in some Part or Parcel of and by Consideration of the sum of fifty Pounds Lawful Money some witness aforesaid before me the Undersigned hereof by Joshua Auther his Heirs and Assigns for Ever One Certain Tract of Land of Land Lieutenant Laying being in the Town of Charlestown containing by Survey about seven acres of Land bounded and described as follows to the North East by Survey to the South Aside and by the City at the Corner of the Witness Tree called the North West Boundary 20 rods and by the City at the Corner of the Witness Tree called the South West Boundary 20 rods and to have and to Hold the sd Granted and Bargained Premises together with all Trees Airs and other allowances convenient from convenient boundaries whatever to him the sd Joshua Auther his Heirs and Assigns as an Absolute Estate of Inheritance for Ever And Also I sd Lowwick Rynson and Mary my wife for my part and my share having her Consent and Domain to the Conveyance and Signage the above Donated Premises to him the sd Joshua Auther his Heirs And Assigns for Ever hereafter to warrant Lawful Claims Demands and any other Process or Interest whatsoever Ever hereafter to warrant Square and Apposed by the said Manutures for the Consideration aforesaid fully Justly and fully Conveyed given and Grant and Cede Surrender all their rights to him and to the above Donated Premises I have the seal to Joshua Auther his Heirs & Assigns for Ever In Witness Whereof We have hereunto set our Hands and Seals and unto the Twenty 5th Day of January in the Eleventh Year of the Independence of America Anno Domine - 1787 - Signed Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of George Potter George Dexter Joshua Dexter Lowwick Rynson - [seal] Mary Rynson - [seal] (wife) Recorded the above Deed Charlestown Washington County January the 5th Day 1787-88 on the 5th Day 1787-88 per Rely Case of J. 518 Bargained And Sold Aliened Conveyed transferred and confirmed unto him named George Gorton after his lease And Agreement Forcase One Acrement of Land situate Lying And being in New Charleston Containing by the measuren’t reg’l 1. Acres be it the Same more or Less And in Butted and Bounded as follows being Beginning at the North East corner at a Stake Well Noted Running East Partly in Farmers Buster Line unmet it Corners at John Youngs land and West from there 30 ft 10 Inches North unmet it Corners at Joseph Sullivans land And West from Corner South westerly on land of Julia Sullivan unmet it Corners to his said Land and makes a Corner Southeasterly on land of Joseph Sullivan line unmet it Corners to the Right North east Boundary To return and to hold the said Land Bargained conveyed aforesaid with all the Appurtenances Privileges & Commodities to the Same Belonging or in Any Way Appertaint to him named George Gorton his heirs and his Assigns forever for his love to his And therefore ye said Premises and benefits before The said Anthony Wff. And Abigail my wife for some plan and benefits before their heirs And Assigns Do covenant Promise and Grant with the said George Gorton his heirs and Assigns that he and his Assigns that he and his Assigns shall to it be guaranteed by you and Heirs of this Deputants Quite to use Enjoy the said Bargained Premises with the Appurtenances free and clear and from all former or Other Gifts grants to Bargains Sales Leases mortgages or Deeds Unto future Courties Lawnies Indentures Recoveries or Incumbrances of what some or Particular nature what Shall in any Manner or Degree or Form of what so wide their Deputants Dad Furthermore the said Anthony Wff. And Abigail my wife for her suffer her Heirs descendants & Omnitors Do covenant Engage a love and forever Defend Names him the said George Gorton his heirs And Assigns against any and all lawful Claims or Demands of any Person or Persons whosoever for love & Warrant secure & Defend by this present In Witness Whereof the said Anthony Wff.
