To all People to whom these Presents shall come Greeting Whereas
that I Nathan Hoff of Charlestown in County of Washington in the state
of Rhode Island & Providence Plantation, do name for and Constitute of the above
Good Will & Nathan, aforesaid I here and do here name my son in law also called
and by daughter Sarah his wife of Charlestown aforesaid. The given Grant and
and by these Presents do Give Grant, alien assign convey convey and confirm
unto them the 3rd a piece Land as surveyed and his further than There, and Assign
for court One certain Thatte or Parcel of Land, situate lying and being in the town
of Charlestown aforesaid containing by Estimation, one half Acre & 20 rods of land be
the same more or Less. As Follows and bounded as follow, Beginning at the South
East Corner, of the S. Nathan Hoff's Lotment of Land lying to the North of the
County there the South west Corner of said lot bounded to the North west of
from there running thentherly by S. Cond Canfield's Land lying there to
a heap of stones from there direct East, from there running thentherly until it
Southerly a Parallel line with the East Part of the Lot to the Contrary Bound
thentherly & then North westerly on the Grantors Land continuing on
the North West Bound Then I do have and to hold the said Granted
Premises, to together with all the Tenements buildings & appurtenances to the same
belonging or in any part of appertaining to them said Canfield & and said Canfield his wife
to their only Proper Use benefit, & to the benefit of the I & the S. Nathan Hoff for
myself, my Heirs Executors and Administrators Grant to and with the steps express
& Reserve their then and Assign that I have in myself Good, thing full Power
to give their Give and grant the Same manner as aforesaid And hereby
and furthermore I Covenant to Engage the same to be aforesaid their springing against the
Lawfull Claims of any person or Persons Claiming the same from some
as Doscar Hoff wife of the S. Nathan Hoff Doth for Consideration stated
& for Divers other Good Causes confirm me hereunto moving do by these Presents give
up and surrender all her Right of power and Power of minds in the above
Deeded Premises to then the S. apx Canfield & and wife their Heirs their heirs of

maintain all the fences that enclose the within mentioned & described cropland

and Providence Plantations Weaver first, Greeting - Know ye that I
the said Henry Welch for my and in consideration of the sum of one hundred
& fifty pounds lawfull money of my own hand Paid by Joseph Arthur
of the same Charlestown Yeoman the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge
and that from this town with fully content satisfied and Paid I have given
Granted bargained Sold aliened or passed conveyed and confirmed and by
these Presents I the said Henry Welch do for my self & my heirs fully
fully and absolutely give Grant bargain sell alien in all ways convey and
confirm unto the said Joseph Arthur his heirs and assigns for ever
three Certain Tracts of Parcells of land lying and being in the Town of
Charlestown aforesaid one of said Tract of Land being the Town aforesaid containing
my about forty acres bolted and bounded as may be by a Deed made & granted
by the vacuum George Kinnegar bearing Date June the fourth 1792
unto William Welch will appear one other of said Tracts lying contiguous
to and adjoining the former Tract containing Twelve acres more or there
