To all People to whom these Presents shall come, Greeting Know
Ye That I Joseph Good in the County of Kings County, State of Rhode Island, for and in
Consideration of the Sum of Ten Pounds lawful money of the Realm paid and paid
paid by Thomas Emery of the Town of [illegible] in the County of Kent for the Consideration
of a Late Court Deed having executed a Deed with him as Party of the first part Thomas Emery
and my Son Francis a Party of the second part Thomas Emery, the said Francis whom I do solemnly
and truly promise and faith fully contracted and paid, as do we lawfully remise release and forever grant
claim and quit claim unto Thomas Emery his heirs and Assigns forever all my Right
Title Interest Property Claim Title or enough to assure to him with my entire
said Parcel of Land and Claim more or less to assure to him with my entire
value those Lands lying in the Town of [illegible] in a place called [illegible] near to the
Beach, and bounded as follows: partly with the property Beginning at a Stake in the [illegible]
which is in the biggest Rock in the [illegible] Beach that runs west in a Line to some [illegible]
bounded
Bounded with the Property of Thomas and Other Party dwelling there, and running a North
Line to the Northwesterly to a large Rock bounded by the Line of the same large Rock which East
Rock runs North to the North East of the boundary or Salt Land, and East of the Beach and without
of the dwelling the said line runs North Easterly to some Stake in the Beach, in the Line to some Rock
until it comes to the Dyke with the Dyke in the Salt Land, and so bounding North to some Rock and
Eastward the same Land partly running to Thomas Emery on the East until it comes
westward until it comes to the first North eastward Rock, running to some Line until
running all my
Right, Title, Interest Property Claim Title or enough to assure to him of one or all the
Beach, Sandy Water or Water Course in the Eastward of the Salt land bounded Line until
it comes to the Lands partly running to him being in the [illegible] across Land until
To have and to hold all the above granted and bargained Premises unto
him the said Thomas Emery his heirs and Assigns for ever as absolutely as Myself
could or would right have done the Same the Heirs of the Property, and all and every part
do for every my [illegible] Heirs Chamber or others whom it may concern promise and warrant
to and with the said Thomas Emery his heirs and Assigns in manner wise intending that
its be that he the said Thomas Emery his heirs and Assigns enjoy same Line to Line
and all the Times given forever for the time and for the said’s descendants have held self
and improve the above granted Premises as fully as absolutely as Myself
could or would right have done before the Date hereof.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal, the Twenty Seventh
Day of September A.D. 1787.
