226 and granted Devise for and am lawfully seised in my own Right of the Name as of good reput and absolute Estate of Inheritance in Eastleigh having in myself good Right full Power & Lawful Authority to sell & dispose of the same Land in Manner as above described and the said Jonathan Cooper his heirs and Assigns shall have and may forever be seised by fee and Tenure of the Whole of these Presents here held with cause failure enjoy the same with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging free fully and clearly acquitted & discharged from all manner of Claims & Demands Tenures & Tenements Leases & Assignments Mortgages any other Claims whatsoever Furthermore the said Simon Tucker and his Wife Margaret cedar for my wife his heirs Assigns etc. covenant & agree with the above before named Devisee & Compose with the Appurtenances there unto belonging will and suffer that any Person from any Title claim Conveyance Assignment & Assigns against the same defend & uphold the said Mike and his Wife Margaret Tucker for the Consideration you paid albeit by these Present parts and witnessing by right of grant and parcelled all the Right of Devise & Devise of mine and will all the before bargain & Devise of mine with him the said from that thereof of mine etc. forever In Witness whereof we the said Simon Tucker & his Wife hereunto set our Hands and Seals the Eighth Day of March in the Yearteenth Year of the Reign of George the Third Being first of October and in the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Seven hundred & twenty Eight Signed Sealed & delivered in the presence of [illegible] [illegible] Nathan Tucker Simon Tucker & Sarah his wife appeared before me & acknowledged the the foregoing Deed was their Act and Instrument by them granted to be their Act & Deed with their Hand & Seal recorded the 10th Octobr 1728 by Page Counter 3 Simon Tucker Sarah Tucker Charles [illegible] Sam Perry Justice of Peace To all People to whom these presents shall come Greeting Known that I John Congdon of Charlestown in Kings County & Colony of Rhode Island Gentleman for the Consideration of my friend friends [illegible] received by me to my full Satisfaction Gentleman for the Consideration of my friend friends [illegible] received by me to my full Satisfaction of George [illegible] his heirs and his Assigns forever give grant bargain sell and convey unto and unto all persons of Land on which it stands everything on that thing in Charlestown for Lot lying my house longer than and is bounded Northerly and fully Certainly on the Grantee Lotterly on the Hoghway and Westly on Gideon Case's Land I give and bargain to hold the above granted and bargained House and Lot with the privileges & appurtenances to him the said George [illegible] his heirs and Assigns forever to his and their own proper persons his Wife and Devisee and also that I Simon Congdon for my my Heirs Certain and absolute to covenant with the said George [illegible] that he and his Heirs & Assigns shall hold and enjoy the aforesaid Property full warrant of the free from any claim as good in absolute Estate in the said Land have good Right to buy and sell the same in all manner and form and from all and whatsoever the Same is free of all Sums claims & whatsoever And also that I Simon Congdon do by these Presents bind my Self and my Heirs forever to Warrant and defend the above granted and bargained Property from the claims of George [illegible] his Heirs & Assigns against all and Lawfull Claims and Demands & whatsoever
