To all People to whom these Presents shall come I John Stanton & Dorothy his wife of Coventry in the County of Windham in the Colony of Connecticut do make known that April 18th 1722 That we the said John Stanton & Dorothy his wife in our s[?] in Consideration of the Sum of two hundred & thirty five Dollars in Hand before the Execution hereof well and truly paid by Benjamin Howes now of Charlestown in the County of Kent in the Colony of Rhode Island the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, and moreover thereunto fully published, contracted, agreed, and thereupon, and thereof and for said sum and conveyed barred, do separate, assign and discharge the said Benjamin Howes for his heirs, Services and Administrators, forever by this Indenture Grant with granted bargained sold alienated confirmed, and confirmed to him and the said Benjamin Howes, for himself his heirs felicity and obediently pure grant bargain sell convey assign assign and give him and the said Benjamin
