To all People to whom this Present Write witnesseth these that I Oliver Collegerone of Charlestown in King's County Colony and Citizen of Newportland German f and in consideration of the Sum of two hundred and fifty Pounds of lawful Money to me paid and well and truly paid before me the Secretary hereof by Mr Edward Copeland of the said City approved witness the Receipt whereof I do by these presents Acknowledge myself thoroughly well satisfied do sell convey and pass transfer by and parcel thereof by said parcel thereof to hereby Devise convey and discharge the said Mr Edward Candal his Heirs Servants and Assigns forever by the said Edward Candal given grant bargain and sale with a warranty expressed conveyed and confirmed unto him the said Mr Candal his Heirs and Assigns forever a piece of land situate root of said land sit in the said Charlestown lying between by North line Two hundred and eighty six Acres more or less be the same more or less and to Bound Boundary of a said Close by a Close more or less it being Bound North East Corner with those those with 23 1/2 Degrees East by St Jaynes Land to a Stake of stone whose Tree Coming southly 23 1/2 Degrees partly by Mr Candal Engaged Land partly by Jonathan Fisher Engaged Land until it come to the South West Corner of the present to a Stake whose distance there 36 1/2 Degrees west by St Jaynes Engaged land until it come to James Kingyes Land to a Stake of stone whose distance 18 1/2 Degrees East by James Kingyes Land until it come to a Copper Tree mark on four sides with silver about there it come North Eastly with and west by St Jaynes Engaged Land until it come to a Stake with Five Stone surrounding it and mark with a y and then South West Degrees more and until it come to the North East Corner Bound above and forbid the said grant Bargain and Bargain Promise with all the Appurtenances Privileges & commodities to the said land belonging or in any way appertaining to him the said Mr Candal his Heirs and Assigns forever to him and theirs in any Right Repai of Descent and Heritable foreserves and I the said Oliver Collegerone for me my Heirs Descendants as lawfully Born Children and Grant and convey the said Mr Candal his Heirs and Assigns for their heirs and until the dwelling House set on the said land the sole vote and Lawful Course of all the begin Bargain Promise in my own proper right and our Lawfully signed and set off after some and good Perfect and Absolute Release of convenience in the Simple owning in my own right to sell and Devise of the same in the manner as above and that the said Mr Candal his Heirs and Assigns shall hold and enjoy forever between and before Catherine Philip Sons of my Diversity Heirs’ 37 Kings County Ye Personally came the above Signor Oliver Colbegrove the Day 9th of October above written and Acknowledged the above and foregoing Deed to be his Voluntary Act and Deed with his Hand and Seal thereto affixed Before Simeon Perry Justin Com Pis The above and foregoing Deed was recorded the 20th day of October A.D. 1780 To all People to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye That William Master of Charterhouse in the County of Kings County and Citizen of Philadelphia State of Pennsylvania He and in Consideration of the sum of Twelve Pounds lawful Money of the same I do stand posture witness to be paid upon the Executing and Delivery hereof of the said Robert Pope of the same Town County and Colony above named Leavening the premises hereof I do hereby acknowledge by my right hereditary fully lawfully lawfully contracted and sold and found to my hereby fully and clearly equal conveyed and discharge and hand the said Robert Pope his heirs Assigns, servants forever by his hand wrote Here Given George Gardiner’s Seal Signed Executed recognized & confirmed, and by the said Robert Pope fully partly and absolutely gave good payment Still coin enough convey and confirm with him the said Robert Pope his heirs and Assigns and forever possess Our certain Parcel piece of land weighing four and being in Charterhouse town containing Twenty Four Bounds to northwest 35 poles to northeast 29 poles to the Highway at a Black Stone Pile Mold which is William B. poles Corner there 45 poles to the N.W. 65 poles East on Mud Wall boundary by a Post of Shade there 35 poles N.W. 35 poles to the N.E. while the said Mud Wall there 28 poles to the east there S.P.E. Home chain’s fully 15 chains S.E. 18 poles chain there North 23 poles of first five chains 45 poles line per one a chain then S.E. 6 poles East boundary close to the Hwy there then by the Highway to the first mentioned boundary bounded Northly partly by William Bryant’s Land fully on John Carter’s Land partly on said Land belonging to said Robert Pope as formerly Land belonging to the Granter westerly and Easterly bounded on the Granter’s Land Northly partly on the Hwy there & partly on William Robert’s Land To have and to hold the said Granted and bargained Premises with all the Privileges and Appurtenances thereto belonging on and every superintending unto him the said Robert Pope his heirs and Assigns his heirs and assigns his and their only Proper and best benefit and behalf forever as the William Master for my Here Given and determine to Council Prompt and Quantly with the said Robert Pope his Heirs and Assigns that forever by Inheritancy and Devise of trophy Present the same True and Lawful Owner of the above said premises and as an Lawfully Seized and Possessed of the same in my own Proper Right as a good Better Citizen of Philadelphia in the County and hand in my own right Good Full Power and Lawful Authority to grant bargain sell convey and confirm the above said premises in manner as above written and that the said Robert Pope his heirs and Assigns may now and shall from time to Time and at all Times forever hereafter by form and Tenure of the above Presents Lawfully decently and Sincerely have and enjoy benefit by form and Tenure of the said Granted and bargained premises with the Appurtenances above mentioned belong to him clear and fully and clearly conveyed and Discharged of all burdens all manner of taxes or other the Right’s Grant, bargains, sales Leases, Mortgages, ventures Wll. Pellets Device Judgments Executions, Incumbrances and so forth in the above Furthermore
