338 Know All Men by these Presents that I Joshua Champlin of Whale town in the County of Washington and State of Rhode Island forward for and in the consideration of two hundred Dollars paid me in hand by Marlborough R Gardner of and inhabitants of Charlestown, the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have Given and Sold, and do by these Presents convey Rom and Let to him the Marlborough R Gardner of and during the Term of his Natural life on under and including twenty feet part of a certain Parcel of Ground situated in said Whale town called the Joshua Champlin farming lot lying south of the North road (by the road) and called the Joshua Champlin farming lot lying south of the North road (by the road) and bounded by R. Bailey on the East and Joshua R. Bailey on the South side and by westerly side of Joshua G. Champlin's lot, Champlin, and Markuthy on the North bound or however otherwise described B. to the North side and to the North side with the rights or however otherwise described B. to the North side and to the North side with the privileges and appurtenances there to the said R. Marlborough R. Gardner for, and during the term of his Natural life. In Witness whereof I have signed these presents and set my hand and Seal this 14th day of April 1835.
