Know All Men by these Presents, That I Samuel Stanton of Charlestown in
the County of Washington State of Rhode Island Providence &c As Administrator [with the Will annexed]
on the Estate of Simon Lewis, late of said town deceased By virtue of the Letters of Administration
issued to me by the Supreme Judicial Court of State of this State at their October Term
(1833) whereas it was made to appear to said Court by the certain Exhibition of said
Administrator that the Personal property of said Deceased was insufficient to
pay the Just Debts by him left to the sum of Nine Hundred and Ninety Dollars inclusive
of Costs and Expenses, and the said Administrator having obtained a Decree of
said Court to sell with Mo. the Real Estate of said Deceased under the Direction of the
Court of Probate of said Charlestown as would raise that sum, and said Court
having ordered said Real estate sold at auction by the Court, to the highest Bidder
having decreed said Real Estate sold at auction by the Court, to the highest Bidder
at a Publick Sale’ the 24th day of June 1834, for the sum of Nine hundred and Ninety
