297 Know All men by these Presents that I Joseph Stanton of Charlestown in Washington county R.I. Yeoman do give and grant in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred Dollars to me paid in lawful money of the United States by Henry Humphrey of Charlestown in Washington county Yeoman of the one part and of the other part that I Joseph Stanton have justly fully and absolutely inherited from my late Father Given Stanton Bequest and devise and sold unto the said Henry Humphrey his heirs their Assigns executors and Administration forever an Entire Tract of land situated and lying in the town of Charlestown by Estimation by Estimation [illegible] are the same or more or less within the boundaries as follows beginning at a [illegible] (marked with a) [illegible] that boundary connects off the first of the Part and the Great road and runs north and east until bounded by the property of william [illegible] then running South east and by the property of [illegible] boundary on her North bounding it then by the property of Stanton land and by the property of [illegible] by the Great road to the point of the first [illegible] then the same boundary [illegible] by James [illegible] up to the first line of the Device [illegible] and back to the first point Given Grant with Reserved privileges with all the appurtenances thereunto pertaining and Convenances to the heirs and assigns in any way appertaining unto the said Henry Humphrey his heirs and assigns forever. And the sd Joseph Stanton do covenant and agree with the sd Henry Humphrey his heirs and assigns forever that he will warrant and defend the same unto the sd Henry Humphrey his heirs and assigns
