293 Know all Men by these Presents that I Dan Ping of Charlestown in the County of Washington State of Rhode Island do sell for and in Consideration of the sum of five Hundred Dollars to me in hand paid before the Commissioner and Notary public of my choice Hundred Dollars to me we here hand granted bargained and sold the Right title and Interest the hereby annexed Body and Parcel of land that I have heretofore Contiguous and Parcel of do hereby Annexed and Parcel Within that within the said Town of M. Congdon his heirs and Assigns forever all the Right title the Property Claim or Interest that I have in one eighth part of a parcel of land lying in said Charlestown and is bounded as follows Viz Beginning on the North line of the first Parcel on said colony on said land of Dan Congdon his heirs Running east by said road to a certain Stake with a stone in the corner of said landly land the running East thirty rods to a Washly with stone in the corner then running south by the direction of Station Shipman Drawing boundary line running south to the first rod then south by and marked rods to the first Western line Running by the East line ten and a half perches and then West to the same corner of Viz. to the North with all the privileges and Appurtenances thereunto belonging and the same to the said and his heirs and Assigns forever and to the said Dan Ping his heirs and from the said John M. Congdon his heirs and Assigns forever hereby warrant and defend to the said John M. Congdon his heirs and Assigns forever the said parcel of land to be held to them the Congdon his heirs and Assigns forever with all the privileges and Appurtenances thereunto belonging and the same for the sum of five Hundred Dollars paid for the Consideration above Expressed hereby witness my hand and seal witnessed this 24th day of September 1833 witnessed this 24th day of September 1833 to him the said John M. M. Tucker of Charlestown in the County of Washington State of Rhode Island do Concurrence of the Convention of the sum of five dollars paid by Sarah Jordan C.
