268 Know all Men by these Presents that I Samuel Stanton of Charlestown known County of Washington & State of Rhode Island Providence for and in Consideration of the Sum of One Thousand and fifty Dollars to me in Hand well and truly paid by John Stanton of the Town County & State aforesaid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and agree to convey sell and convey to said John Stanton and his heirs and assigns forever one Other part of said Farm in said Charlestown, containing Seventy Acres and is Bounded on the South by the land of William Babcock, on the East by the land of Joshua Gorton on the North by the land of John Babcock and on the West by the land of the Above named Proprietor together with all the Rights and Appurtenances thereto belonging or in any way appertaining unto the said John Stanton his heirs and assigns forever to have and there hold the same both to have and forever possess, and I the said Samuel Stanton for myself and my Heirs Executors and Administrators do hereby covenant with said John Stanton his Heirs and Assigns that said Parcel of Land in the South with said Father, that he has and by Right to hold it forever as the same aforesaid, and do of the same warrant that he shall be forever free from his Heirs and assigns forever against the Demands of Samuel Stanton and all others.
