298 To All People to whom these Presents shall Come, I Daniel Stanton of Charlestown in the County of Washington gentleman Send Greeting, Know all Men by these Presents that I the said Daniel Stanton grant and in Consideration of the sum of Five Hundred Dollars in hand before the Executing hereof will and truly pay by Nathan Stanton smith from the County of Kingston hereof, Mary Stanton and Abby Bennett appeared the above named Daniel Stanton signed & Sealed the Instrument and acknowledged the same to be his Free voluntary act and Deed done Seal for the purposes therein contained Signed Samuel Stanton Just. Peace I Know all men by these Presents that I Edward S Green of Charlestown in the County of Washington and State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantation, do in Consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty Dollars paid me by Sarah Lee of Charlestown in the County of Washington and State of aforesaid Grant and release I do hereby remise release and forever Give Grant Bargain Convey quit claim unto the said Anna Green her Heirs and assigns forever two Separate Lots or parcels of Land with a dwelling House standing on one of the said Lots in Washington vicinity only as follows describing them as follows Lying and being in Charlestown in the County of Washington and State aforesaid containing One hundred and fifty and eight perches of Land bounded & followed with first between the dwelling house thereon standing by running at the Highway easterly at Charlestown corner and Lot at above Name No 63 westerly 20 rods thence North 10 to 15 rods Thence S 61 E 15 rods Thence S 18 W 20 rods and the first mentioned Bounds containing 50 rods Bound beginning on the East line of the Highway at a Rock near Age and distance since South of the first Bound to the first mentioned Lot 10 rods Thence S 18 W 10 rods and Thence North a Wood corner 15 rods to the first mentioned Bounds containing 9 5 rods of Land. To Have and to Hold the said Granted and Bargained Premises with the Privileges and appurtenances thereunto the things The said land Anna Green her Heirs and assigns forever to day and to their uses and heirs and lawful issues For that the said Anna Green her Heirs and assigns on me nor cause my heirs and assigns forever claimed for a Store or Lawsuit.
