Know all Men by these Presents that I David Clarke of Charlestown in the
State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations Yeoman In Consideration of
the sum of three Hundred Dollars paid one by Elijah Gurnam man of Charlestown in the
County of Kent Rhode Island and State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations Yeoman To
whom I do hereby acknowledge receipt of the same Grant Sell and convey unto the said
Elijah Gurnam his heirs and Assigns forever certain lot of land lying between the
Charlestown in the County of Kent Rhode Island and State aforesaid containing by Estimation
thirty acres in the same manner as follows and is bounded as follows viz Beginning at the

of the said Gurnam and [illegible] and thence running Easterly bounded by the settlement
of the said Gurnam and [illegible] to a stake by the Edge of the stream thence running Southeasterly
the said [illegible] and [illegible] road to a heap of stone by the stream thence running easterly to a
stake by the stream and thence running North easterly to a stake in the corner of a wall on the east side of the
the wall thence running West to the company way thence running Northerly bounded by the
[illegible] and thence North West to the place of beginning as the said Lot is bounded and
with the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging the then and there the said Elijah Gurnam his
heirs and Assigns forever And I the said David Clarke do hereby grant convey and administer to the said
Gurnam with the said Clarke his heirs and Assigns forever in the said plot of land to have and to hold the same
that they are of right full and lawful Seized in his own proper right to and forever the same to the
said Elijah Gurnam his heirs and Assigns to the full Benefit and purpose of the said Lot and convey the same to the
said Elijah Gurnam his heirs and Assigns forever quiet the lawful Claims and demands of all persons of all
and Susanna Clarke wife of the aforesaid David Clarke for the consideration above mentioned certifies
and Susanna Clarke agrees that of the aforesaid David Clarke office of the aforesaid to the
do give up and quit all her right and Title of the said Lot to the said Elijah Gurnam his heirs and Assigns forever
and agreed to make and execute such warranty as may be necessary In Witness whereof we have set our hands and seals this 23rd day of February 1830.

Kent Washington State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations and my wife in the Right of my said
Washington State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations do sell convey to us and our heirs well and lawfully paid full
and in Consideration of the sum of ten Dollars paid to us by Elijah Thier in the County and State aforesaid
Enclosing and delivery of the same to the said Elijah Thier in the County and State aforesaid
In the Right of which we hold our title by deed from [illegible] dated November 19 1822 the said
