179 State of Rhode Island &c. Washington Co. To do wit At Charlestown the 14th day of January A D 1828. Whereas I, Allen King one of the aforesaid Essex County Ct. [illegible] Goodman Mortgagee did sell on the 8th day of January 1828 Mortgagee my dwelling House frame and other buildings thereon standing on a certain lot of Land situated in Charlestown in aforesaid Co. [illegible] bounded as follows viz Beginning at the North west corner of the said lot running by the line of Samuel King on the Northerly side and Eastly to want [illegible] the line of Oliver Cardwell for all it comes to the North line of the property then southerly then easterly to the line of David Allen and David Moore bounded as follows viz the North line being the line of the City of Rhode Island &c. [illegible] South line being the line of the [illegible] line of Richard [illegible] bounded as follows viz Beginning at the North west corner of the lot at the North west corner then southerly to the North west corner of the said land and then easterly then easterly to the said North east corner then northerly to connect the North west corner then North west corner to the said North west corner then southerly to the North west corner then easterly and then northerly and then to the said North west corner to the aforementioned bounds for the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to J. S. R. Albany Mortgagee. Now therefore the date above mentioned and the the said Allen King on the said date delivered the Quit claim and Absolute Possession of the before described Land and Premises in the presence of Caleb King on the [illegible] and Thomas Clarke [illegible] and Witnesses in the presence of Caleb King on the [illegible] and Thomas Clarke [illegible] to Samuel Hunt living in the State of the aforesaid Co. and the City of Charlestown Dist. and with and said Caleb Kingon Thomas Clarke Certify that we were present at the delivery of Possession as above Stated. Caleb Kingon Lewis Kingon Thomas Clarke Washington Co. To do wit At Charlestown the day and date above written Personally came Lewis Kingon before me signed the above and foregoing Certificate and acknowledged the same to be his voluntary act and deed Before me Thomas Clarke Justice Peace Recorded this Certificate Feby 1st 1828 by Samuel Canton Town Clerk Washington Co. To do wit At Providence the 1st day of January A D 1828. Personally came Lewis Kingon in the presence of the above and foregoing Certificate and acknowledged the same to be his voluntary act and deed Before me Fieldfield Madison Justice Peace State of Rhode Island &c.
